2. His mother died of tuberculosis and his father left him.
3. Theories of the cause of his death were epilepsy, diabetes, heart problems, poisoning and murder.
4. The state that Poe called home was Richmond, Virginia.
5. They thought he considered Maryland home because he lived and died there.

8. I thought the marriage was normal because during that time period you would usually marry young.
9. This is the first detective story ever.
