Folger's Theatre Blog

Folger's Theatre was an fun and exciting experience. I absolutely loved walking around and getting to see D.C. I thought the actors were funny and energetic about Shakepeare. I enjoyed how during the performance they did not use examples from one play, but instead several. the performers explained to us how Shakespeare's language was not as different from our modern language. It opened my eyes to this and now I am able to understand Shakespeare with a new idea in my head. The performers were very talented and knew what they were talking about. I will never look at Shakespeare's writing the same way again. Afterwards, walking in D.C was a huge amount of fun, I enjoyed seeing it. The food court was especially good!
